Constructed of beech and retaining the original ebonized surface with ochre- and gilt-toned painted highlights to the turnings, the frame features a turned spindle back, spindle arm supports, tapering cylindrical legs, and a simple stretcher base. The hand-rushed seat displays age-appropriate wear with minor losses to the underside, though it remains structurally sound.
